Slovene Coast, Postojna – 50-100 km
Every kilometre of the Slovene Coast hides a new surprise.Here are the Sečovlje saltpans, mentioned for the first time in the 13th century and the nearby refuge for more than 150 bird species.

Here are towns Izola, Piran and Koper, which attract visitors with their mediaeval centres, while Portorož, although mentioned for the first time as early as in 1251, offers many modern hotels with congress halls, a fully equipped marine, small aircraft airport, casino and diverse offer of summer cultural, entertainment and sporting events.

The Postojna Cave, mentioned for the first time in 1213, is the most popular cave in Europe with more than 26 million of visitors each year. The Škocjanske jame cave, listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, the list of world natural and cultural heritage, has more than 1,400 m long and 150 m deep subterranean gorge of the Reka River.
