Bovec, Kobarid and Tolmin are linked by the emerald green colour of the Soča River, arguably one of the most beautiful rivers in Europe. The area is distinguished by its extremely valuable natural environment, stretching from the Triglav National Park to the Idrija and Cerkno region. The area had turbulent history, rich cultural, ethnological and technical heritage has been preserved and there are splendid opportunities for outdoor sports adventure.
